On August 7th, 2018 at approximately 5:57 pm, Freetown Police received a report of a suspicious black pickup truck behind Prime Express in East Freetown. Officer Nicholas Drinkwine responded and encounter the man, later identified as Ryan Reynolds of 215 Middleboro Road, East Freetown, exiting his vehicle. K9 Officer Thomas Long and K9 Koda responded to assist.
During the investigation, K9 Koda was used to perform a narcotic sniff of the vehicle. Koda alerted to the vehicle which lead to the discovery of white powder, which police alleged to be cocaine. Officers also located 32 pills, Suboxone, $426 cash, scales, a pill cutter, 4 cell phones, plastic baggies and a large double edged knife.
Reynolds was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
– Possession of a Class B Substance
– Possession of a Class E Substance
– Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class E Substance
– Possession of Dangerous Weapon
Reynold was released on $500 cash bail and arraigned this morning at Fall River District Court.
